The eSales Agent at Crest Honda is responsible for engaging with customers who are contacting the dealership with the interest of purchasing a new and/or pre-owned vehicle. Their ultimate goal is to generate sales appointments and drive customers to the dealership. The agent will handle internet inquiries and phone calls, establishing contact and a great first impression with our customers. The eSales Agent's responsibility is to deliver a premium customer experience by responding to inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner.

This highly accountable position uses lead management tools and CRM software to manage the initial guest engagement process. This position will be trained to understand all products and services offered at the dealership, along with current inventory, finance and incentive programs. The agent will receive continuous training in exceptional customer service, sales tactics, overcoming objections, and developing customer relationships.

The eSales Agent will report to the Traffic Manager, if applicable, or Sales Manager. Compensation is tied to appointment and sales performance.

$45,000 - $100,000 annually depending on performance

Job Description

Crest Honda is seeking a motivated and customer-focused eSales Agent to join our sales team in Nashville, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with prospective customers through digital channels, managing online inquiries, and driving sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. As an eSales Agent, you will be the digital face of our dealership, building relationships with customers and guiding them through their vehicle purchase journey.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, phone, and other digital platforms
• Generate and qualify leads from online sources and manage follow-up communications
• Present vehicle inventory, features, and financing options to prospective buyers
• Schedule and coordinate test drives with customers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics
• Provide expert product knowledge and consultation to customers
• Process online transactions and ensure proper documentation completion
• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Track sales activities and provide regular reports on performance and pipeline status
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle solutions
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in automotive or retail environments (2+ years preferred)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Proficiency with CRM software and dealership management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with email platforms, digital communication tools, and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer objections professionally
• Knowledge of automotive products, features, and financing options (preferred)
• Experience with lead generation and sales pipeline management (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
