Hope Mentorship Care & Support Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Mentorship Care & Support Coordinator provides relational oversight and coordination for mentorship matches, ensuring relationships are safe, supported, and well-resourced. This role bridges care coordination and program support by facilitating intakes and match placements, supporting ongoing mentor-mentee relationships, and connecting participants to appropriate resources.

This position is ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in social work, case management, advocacy, or human services who is energized by relational work, discernment, and community connection.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To ensure mentorship relationships are safe, supported, and thriving by providing ongoing care, oversight, and coordination for mentor-mentee matches while connecting participants to appropriate resources and supports.

JOB TYPE: Part-time $18.00 hr / up to 25 hours a week - paid bi-weekly

LOCATION: This position is based out of our Lancaster office and may occasionally support or collaborate with staff across multiple office locations in different counties.

CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Intake, Assessment & Match Placement

• Conduct mentor and mentee interviews and support trauma-informed assessments
• Facilitate thoughtful match placement based on safety, fit, and relational stability
• Support onboarding processes that build clarity, trust, and consistency
• Assist in evaluating match fit and supporting transitions when needed

Ongoing Match Support & Care Coordination

• Provide ongoing oversight and support for active mentorship matches
• Lead check-ins and relational support conversations that strengthen trust and connection
• Support mentors in navigating boundaries, challenges, and relational dynamics
• Respond to emerging concerns and support repair and stabilization in collaboration with leadership
• Offer crisis support as needed within program protocols

Resource Navigation & Advocacy

• Connect mentees and families to internal and external community resources
• Maintain and update a network of relevant supports and services
• Support referrals that promote stability, growth, and well-being
• Advocate for mentee needs within broader systems of care when appropriate

Community Engagement & Program Support

• Coordinate mentor trainings, gatherings, and relational community events
• Support the development of programming that strengthens match health and engagement
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team collaboration
• Assist in mentor recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation for mentor and mentee records across physical and digital systems, including Monday.com
• Adhere to organizational and program policies, including confidentiality standards, remote work expectations, and secure file management practices
• Support fundraising and community engagement activities as needed

• Experience in or strong interest in social work, case management, advocacy, or trauma-informed care strongly preferred. Candidates with a background in social work, particularly those holding a BSW or LSW, are highly encouraged to apply.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Personal confession of Christian faith and alignment with the mission and vision of Hope Inspire Love
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as program needs require
• Valid Pennsylvania drivers license, current insurance, and a clean driving record
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including FBI fingerprint clearance

Important: Hope Inspire Love has peak seasons when it provides awareness, prevention, and fundraising events to the community, including seminars, workshops, activities, galas, and giving days, which may occur on weekdays, weeknights, or weekends. Most of these events are scheduled far in advance so that they can be attended, and this position is required to participate and help out at these events.

ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW: Hope Inspire Love, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that exists to eradicate human trafficking and sexual exploitation. It was launched in 2017 and today provides a 3-part solution to combat human trafficking: Restorative Care, Prevention Education, and Outreach. Through these programs, Hope Inspire Love is equipping communities with anti-human trafficking tools and resources, partnering with organizations and community members to fight for vulnerable people, and disrupting the crime of human trafficking through targeted awareness campaigns. As a community-impact, faith-centered nonprofit, Hope Inspire Love provides trauma-informed mentorship, art and equine therapy, and social enterprise. The organization offers a range of trauma-informed aftercare services for survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation to support their healing and growth and is deeply committed to supporting survivors long-term recovery and restoration through a holistic continuum of care. This care also includes wraparound services and case management that are designed to help build stability and move survivors toward independent, sustainable living. The organization also provides "Outreach" as the first step to begin to build trusting relationships and offer holistic support to people affected by or vulnerable to sexual exploitation by meeting them wherever they arestrip clubs, motels, massage businesses, truck stops, homeless shelters, rehabs, jails, and online. As a non-residential program, Hope Inspire Love has the unique flexibility to meet survivors where they are, partnering with them as they heal and rebuild at a pace guided by their individual needs, goals, and timing.
