Job Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes to support both prototype and established production processes. This role follows prescribed standards of CNC operations, consistently meets defined cycle times, and actively contributes to on-time delivery through high-quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed standards and procedures for CNC mill/lathe operations and set-ups for established and prototype processes.
• Set up CNC equipment to run production, including pre-staging raw material and preparing tools and fixtures.
• Meet established cycle times while maintaining high quality and adherence to process requirements.
• Perform tool changes, adjust machine settings, and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient and stable production.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, quality documents, and other relevant written materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support smooth workflow and resolve issues.
• Maintain a reasonably complete set of personal tools needed to perform set-up and operational tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC mills or lathes in a production or machine shop environment.
• Knowledge and skills to pre-stage raw material, perform set-ups, conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool offsets for proven processes.
• Experience with CNC troubleshooting and machine operation.
• CNC Machining Certificate or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Shop Operator.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Liberty Lake,WA.
