Emergency Pet Care of Texas (EPCT) – Emergency Veterinarians EPCT is a 24/7, AAHA‑accredited veterinary hospital that has provided emergency and critical care services to the community since 2015. Our team is enthusiastic about providing gold‑standard level of care to pets and ensuring that clients feel confident and informed about the care their pet receives. About EPCT Emergency Doctors handle incoming cases through triage, manage hospitalized cases, and perform common emergency surgical procedures such as laceration repairs, exploratory laparotomy, GDV, and splenectomy. We have access to a mobile surgeon for more advanced surgeries and orthopedics. We also offer support and collaborate on cases with referring veterinarians. Our skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Receptionists provide competent and comprehensive support to our DVMs. Schedule 12 shifts per month Primarily overnight but can rotate day shifts Shifts are 8am‑8pm, 8pm‑8am What’s In It For You Generous compensation ranging from $150,000–180,000 base plus production, negotiable based on experience, relevant skills and credentials Sign‑on, relocation, retention, student loan repayment bonus options available 3 CE days + $2,500 CE allowance annually 13 days of PTO to support and encourage work/life balance Health benefit (Medical, dental, vision) plan options 401K retirement plan Costs for license, dues, and membership fees covered by hospital Uniform allowance Parental leave Location Magnolia, Texas is located in the Northwest section of the Houston metropolitan area, offering a range of recreational and cultural amenities.
