About our property: Skamania Lodge is a Pacific Northwest resort set on 175 acres, featuring treehouses, glamping, golf, ziplining, a spa, and multiple restaurants. With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations. #PGH-SKL What you will have an opportunity to do: Troubleshoots equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner. Performs assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Director of Facilities Able to lead and direct Engineering team in daily tasks in absence of Maintenance Manager Assumes the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, grounds maintenance, etc. Performs pool checks and aquatics maintenance. Able to perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems Leads team efforts in preventative maintenance on all equipment. Assists with HotSOS (CMMS tool) setup and administration Assists with Key Management Works with contractors and service partners as needed to complete repairs on building and equipment Assists with inventory and purchasing While on shift, respond as part of an initial response team to any early warning or major fire alarm. Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop, loading dock and recycling areas. Responsible for glass and cardboard recycling. Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guests satisfaction, performing recovery as needed Other and additional duties may be expected of incumbent as well as assisting in other departments based on business need. Attends department stand ups when needed Assists with Company Safety programs and represents when needed What are we looking for? Must be available to work the evening shift (1:00 PM–11:00 PM) including weekends and holidays. Valid Drivers License Exceptional mechanical and technical aptitude, ability to read and follow instructions. General understanding of handyman skills, tools, fasteners, paint and plumbing. Very experienced with building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration and carpentry skills Pool Operator Certification, preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints, and wiring schematics, preferred. Strong familiarity with mechanical systems, building automation, HVAC, Electrical, Low voltage Strong computer/technical skills and ability Someone with a strong attention to detail Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Someone with excellent communication skills Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
