Staff Software Engineer

Role Description

We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical direction of an AI-driven healthcare platform while remaining hands-on in building production software. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who enjoys writing code, designing scalable architecture, and establishing engineering standards that enable long-term growth. You'll own technical strategy, guide architectural decisions, and build systems with security, privacy, and scalability at their core.

Qualifications

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1 level Minimum).
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, eager to work with others and solve problems.
• Extensive experience developing production software using backend technologies such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• Full-stack development experience, including React and TypeScript, is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production systems.
• Experience developing healthcare software with HIPAA-compliant architecture and secure PHI handling.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and technical leadership.
• Experience building AI-assisted engineering workflows or implementing AI-powered development practices.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment and code quality.
• Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
