Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical units to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires adaptability to different shift options and adherence to compliance and certification standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, following hospital protocols and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Chart patient progress accurately using Epic electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all travel and licensing regulations, including timely onboarding and certification completion.
  
  
• 
  Maintain appropriate patient ratios, adhering to regulatory guidelines within a 50-mile radius policy.
  
  
• 
  Complete required training modules onsite during orientation to meet compliance standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid state or compact license in nursing at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 1 year of hospital experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work 12-hour day shifts, with availability for 36 or 48-hour options.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all travel policies, including submission of certifications such as BLS.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to accept a minimum of 1st time traveler roles.
