Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The technologist will perform CT procedures, operate CT equipment, administer contrast, position patients, review orders, ensure diagnostic image quality, and provide safe, compassionate patient care.


The position requires flexibility to cover first and second shifts at both sites, including weekends and holidays, based on department needs.


Responsibilities
Perform CT examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Review physician orders and clinical history before examinations.
Properly position patients and select appropriate technical factors.
Administer contrast according to established procedures.
Operate CT scanners, image processors, and related equipment.
Ensure accurate patient information, imaging documentation, and charging.
Enter orders and related information into the Meditech system.
Coordinate patient flow and daily examination schedules.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, privacy, and patient safety standards.
Assess patients for potential pregnancy when applicable and follow appropriate radiation precautions.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Provide respectful, courteous, and patient-focused care.
Maintain diagnostic quality of all CT images.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
Minimum 3 year of CT experience required.
Previous CT scanning experience preferred.
Experience with Toshiba CT scanners is a plus.
Current MA DPH Radiology License required.
ARRT(R) required.
ARRT(CT) preferred; ARRT(CT) required within two years of hire.
Must have an active/current state license.
Strong technical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be flexible, dependable, quality-conscious, and able to work independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including moving equipment/patients and occasionally exerting 20–50 lbs of force.

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #298916. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
