Position Details Job Title: Dental Hygienist Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00 Location: Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 29 hours per week Key Responsibilities Under general supervision, the Dental Hygienist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Delivering preventive oral hygiene care to patients of all ages, including both adults and children. Conducting dental x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and providing oral health education. Documenting dental conditions, diseases, and anomalies in patient records. Cleaning, sterilizing, and ensuring the proper maintenance of dental instruments and equipment. Setting up and breaking down operatory equipment between patient appointments. Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned. Compensation The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35 to $42 .
