Schedule: Full-Time: Monday Friday 8:30am-3:30pm Some Job Responsibilities: Provides speech services as per student IEP mandate to students on designated caseload. Writes logs, reports, and evaluations as required. Ensures that all documentation and reports are completed in a timely fashion. Participates as a member of their designated students treatment team. Participates in student CSE meetings as assigned. Adheres to all school and agency policies and procedures. Attends and participates in all scheduled department and school meetings. Attends trainings/conferences, when available, for professional growth. Provides consultation for staff, when requested, with regards to suggestions, ideas, and information for classroom-wide and individual interventions. Maintains a positive working relationship with administration, staff, and parents. Job Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; NYS License as a Speech-Language Pathologist; Valid NYS Drivers License preferred; Certificate of Clinical Competence; Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; Good interpersonal skills:Experience working with school aged children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred; Must be able to perform physical activities such as (but not limited to); twisting, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing; Must be able to sit, walk, drive, and stand for prolonged periods of time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
