We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This role will primarily involve servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry-level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved. This is a part‑time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary month to month but will average around 5‑20 hours a month. Travel Requirements Travel within a 185 mile radius of Boston, MA is required. Example cities include Dorchester Center, Revere, Hingham, Haverhill, Pittsfield, Clifton Park, Peabody. Major Position Responsibilities Organized and possess excellent time‑management skills Maintain professional appearance with excellent communication skills Effectively communicate company products and services Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Demonstrate inner drive and a desire to exceed goals Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs Able to create an efficient work schedule Manage service cycle for customer base Qualifications Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Great attitude and willingness to learn Ability to continually adjust priorities to match business needs Strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team‑oriented environment Must comprehend and follow instructions; read and write in English Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities Must be able to travel in service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering required Driver’s license required High School education preferred Job Details Job Type: Part‑time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected Hours: 5‑20 hours per month, varying week to week based on accounts.
