Now Hiring: QA Coordinator

Location: Opelika, AL Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Training Requirement: Must be available to train on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for the first 3 weeks.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Coordinator to help ensure consistent quality throughout manufacturing and packaging operations. This role is responsible for reviewing, tracking, and evaluating documentation, records, and processes to ensure products meet company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and review manufacturing and packaging documentation, processing steps, and laboratory test records.
• Sample, inspect, and review bulk materials, components, labels, and finished goods.
• Conduct in-process audits and quality testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Review and disposition materials and finished products when documentation meets specifications.
• Review and approve minor NCRs and batch production change controls as needed.
• Communicate quality issues to Quality Department leadership and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare reject notices for non-conforming materials and ensure quarantine procedures are followed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• Previous Quality Assurance experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of quality system requirements.
• Experience using QA measuring and testing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent and intense attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain focus while reviewing documentation and quality records.
