We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support invasive angiographic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with interventional and angiographic procedures.
• Perform specialized radiography and fluoroscopy during procedures.
• Scrub and circulate during IR procedures.
• Prepare and educate patients before procedures.
• Monitor patient comfort and assist with patient care.
• Prepare and provide necessary supplies, contrast, and medications as directed.
• Assist with catheter/sheath removal and apply appropriate pressure.
• Maintain accurate procedure, contrast, inventory, and patient documentation.
• Support emergency stroke and trauma procedures .
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions when needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Interventional Radiology program.
• ARRT (R) certification – Required.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required.
• Minimum 1 year of Diagnostic Radiology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Recent Interventional Radiology experience required for consideration.
• Experience with stroke and trauma procedures required.
• Must be willing to participate in call coverage .
• Must be able to live within a 30-minute response time for call.
• RCIS candidates may also be considered.
