Tropical Smoothie Café - Shift Leader (GA070) Starting Wage Range: $10.00 - $13.00 Location: 240 Tanger Outlets Blvd, Suite 101, Pooler, GA 31322 Job Summary Oversee daily operations of the Tropical Smoothie Café, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and inventory. Support the team in delivering excellent hospitality, mentor staff, and maintain a cohesive, customer‑focused environment. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in inventory training, when necessary. Drive brand values and standards through training and development activities. Coaching, training, and development of management and crew members. Assist with hiring & staffing needs, especially for under‑staffed cafés. Support new software rollouts and provide training. Execute team‑member training programs per TSC & DYNE standards. Interact with crew members, customers, and vendors using DYNE’s core values. Deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer. Understand all positions within the café and remain proficient. Successfully complete the Café Basics and Certified Trainer Program. Ensure each station operates to Tropical Smoothie Café standards. Train and coach crew members each shift to uphold brand standards. Use tools to manage labor, control inventory, and accomplish goals (e.g., MyInventory). Perform additional tasks necessary to run the café. Required Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong management and supervisory skills. Proficient in Excel and Word; able to learn other software. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions. Physical Requirements Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift. Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds. Constant face‑to‑face interactions with crew members and customers. Navigate safely in a fast‑paced café environment. Multi‑task and remain positive in sometimes stressful conditions. Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, overhead reaching, and stretching.
