Job Description:
The Patient Care Assistant/Tech in the Intensive Care Unit will provide essential support to the nursing staff by assisting with patient care duties, maintaining a safe environment, and facilitating communication with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care activities under the direction of the nursing staff.
- Float to medical surgical units, ICU, and emergency room as required.
- Work weekend shifts as scheduled, on an every other weekend basis.
- Fulfill holiday shift obligations as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS & CNA Certification required.
- EPIC Experience required.
- Willingness to float to various units as needed.
