Project Manager (Civil Engineer)Menadier Engineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to support a diverse portfolio of civil and site development projects on a full-time basis.This role is ideal for a licensed civil engineer with strong project coordination skills who enjoys balancing technical design, team collaboration, and client communication. The Project Manager will work closely with leadership, engineering staff, and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & CoordinationManage civil engineering projects through planning, design, and permitting phasesCoordinate internal engineering and CAD resources to meet project schedules and deliverablesTrack project progress and communicate status updates to leadership and clientsAssist with workload planning and task prioritizationDesign & Technical ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentsPerform and oversee site development design, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systemsInterpret and apply local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and permitting requirementsUtilize AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for design development and reviewClient & Agency CommunicationServe as a point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agenciesParticipate in project meetings, coordination calls, and agency reviews as neededSupport clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycleField & Administrative SupportConduct site visits as required to support design, permitting, or construction coordinationAssist with permitting packages, applications, and related documentationAttend out-of-office meetings as neededEducation, Experience & LicensureRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)Minimum of 8 years of civil engineering experience (compensation commensurate with experience)Minimum of 2 years of project management experiencePreferred Experience Includes:Site planning and land developmentStormwater analysis and designUtility and/or roadway designPermitting and coordination with local and state agenciesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritiesAbility to supervise and collaborate with engineering and CAD staffStrong understanding of plans, specifications, and regulatory requirementsProficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D strongly preferred)Self-motivated, organized, and detail-orientedFlexible and collaborative team playerPosition DetailsEmployment Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday through FridayCompensation: ExemptWork Location: Alachua, FL
