About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiac Tele RN in West Bend, Wisconsin, 53095!

• Deliver direct patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Provide continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring to patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, COPD, stroke, and stable arrhythmias .

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the care team.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and patient families to ensure coordinated care.

• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and responses in the EMR system.

• Support and educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge processes.

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

• Float to other units as needed to support patient care across the facility.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry or Progressive Care settings .

• Proven ability to work with diverse patient populations requiring cardiac monitoring and complex care.

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior travel nursing experience.

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Wisconsin or Multistate Compact License (NLC) .

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-approved equivalent).

• AHA ACLS (HeartCode) certification required.

Preferred:

• No additional certifications required, though advanced cardiac or telemetry certification is a plus.
