Responsibilities Adhere to safe work practices, GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is maintained. Report any conditions that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Remove potato and other debris from floor and non‑food contact surfaces. Sanitize floors according to the prescribed schedule while preventing cross‑contamination of food contact surfaces. Maintain floor cleaning check‑off sheet. Remove all potato debris from the clean room using the dump hopper. Clean and maintain dump hopper totes and equipment. Effectively communicate relevant information to fellow employees on shift and to incoming employees at shift change. Communicate all process inefficiencies, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns and GMP issues to the department lead and/or supervisor. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department per the daily sanitation checklist. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Communication Skills Basic English (verbal and written) is required to read and comprehend safety instructions, rules and warnings for self and others in normal and emergency situations. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form and deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $16.72 to $18.00 per hour.
