Part-Time Universal Banker (20 Hours) – Manhattan Beach Branch Job Req Id: 26973097 Location: Manhattan Beach, California, United States Job Type: On-Site/Resident (Part-time) Posted: Jun. 18, 2026 Job Overview The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of sales, product, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relationships with customers, build loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. Responsibilities Assist in basic account opening for existing customers. Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues. Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate. Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively. Support sales and service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives. Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior and business practices, and manage and report control issues with transparency. Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant experience. Previous retail banking or similar experience required. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Education High School diploma or equivalent. Compensation This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. Salary range for a 40‑hour work week is $47,510.00 – $61,990.00 (annual). Hourly rate corresponding to the annual range is $22.84 – $29.80.
