Electronic Assembly Technician
Required Skills & Experience:
- Electronic, electro-mechanical, or precision mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and blueprints
- Cable harnessing, wiring, and component installation experience
- Hand soldering experience
- Experience working with epoxies, adhesives, potting compounds, or encapsulation materials
- Experience following cure schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
- IPC soldering certifications
- Experience with hard potting and soft potting applications
- Experience performing epoxy mixing, dispensing, and material preparation
- Conformal coating, bonding, or encapsulation experience
- Experience supporting radar, communications, sensor, optical, or electronic hardware assembly
Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
