Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plants, grass, sod, and landscape features on client properties.
• Perform fertilization, pest control, disease treatment, and weed management, including addressing common issues such as nutsedge.
• Inspect, adjust, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper coverage and efficient water use.
• Replace sprinkler heads, adjust nozzles, and correct dry spots or overwatering as needed.
• Operate landscaping and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with concrete work and general landscape construction tasks as required.
• Diagnose and resolve property issues beyond reported client concerns during site visits.
• Identify pest infestations, nutrient deficiencies, irrigation problems, and other site issues, taking corrective action promptly.
• Carry and utilize necessary pest control treatments, fertilizers, herbicides, and related materials while on the job.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and clients regarding work performed and property conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, irrigation, or a related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
• Ability to operate landscaping and construction equipment safely.
• Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work, with a commitment to high-quality results.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
