Server Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Server Assistant (bus person) to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting servers, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining surfaces.
- Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and condiments.
- Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or other accompaniments, and responding to guest requests.
- Sweep floors and maintain overall cleanliness in the dining and service areas.
- Ensure all bus stations are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with dishwashing and other back-of-house tasks as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
