Job Description

School Custodian / Janitorial Cleaner

J and A Cleaning Company LLC is seeking dependable and hardworking School Custodians / Janitorial Cleaners to support Broward County Public Schools.

Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Clean and disinfect restrooms
Empty trash and replace liners
Clean classrooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areas
Dust and wipe surfaces
Follow safety procedures and company policies
Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors

Requirements:

Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Janitorial experience preferred but not required
Must be dependable, professional, and punctual

Schedule:

Day and evening shifts available
Full-time, part-time, and on-call opportunities may be available based on school assignments and staffing needs
