Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,958–$2,075 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days, five days per week; on-call 1–2 nights weekly and every 4th weekend Housing: facility does not reimburse housing costs; traveler housing options may be available at monthly rates ($500–$650 depending on option) Setting: travel assignment in an acute care hospital radiology department Submission profile: includes JHP Cover Sheet, Work History, Skills Checklist, Professional State License, Current BLS Certification, and 2 professional references (within last 2 years) Responsibilities Efficiently and accurately complete CT and/or radiographic studies as ordered by the Health Care Provider and Radiologist, following Quality Control standards and all state and federal regulations Assess patient condition, position the patient, select imaging parameters, operate CT and X-ray equipment, and ensure optimal image quality while protecting patient safety Verify patient identity and orders, review prior studies as needed, document procedures, and maintain accurate patient records in the PACS/RIS systems Adhere to radiation safety principles, perform routine QC checks on imaging equipment, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and department protocols Maintain clear communication with radiologists and referring clinicians; provide patient education about the exam process and anticipated steps Represent the Radiology team during scheduled or unscheduled absences of the Radiology Director and assume duties as needed On-call responsibilities include 1–2 nights per week and every 4th weekend, with prompt response to imaging needs Participate in cross-functional tasks as required and support coverage for busy periods to maintain patient workflow Requirements Active professional state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility for licensure as appropriate for the assignment) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience in CT imaging and radiography preferred; strong familiarity with CT and radiographic protocols and quality control standards Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment, including on-call shifts and weekend coverage Proficiency with imaging modality equipment and basic PACS/RIS workflow; strong patient-care and safety focus Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Weekly pay: $1,958–$2,075 per week Assignment duration: 13 weeks (with potential extension opportunities) On-call requirements: 1–2 nights per week and every 4th weekend Housing: traveler housing options may be available at monthly rates; no facility housing reimbursement Dedicated travel support and recruiter assistance throughout the assignment PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
