General Manager

Multi-Unit ManagerAs part of the Subway® team, you will focus on coordinating and supporting all activities within your assigned geographic area, training, coaching, and supporting managers, creating plans and setting business goals for your assigned restaurants, and being a team player.Your day-to-day will consist of training shift managers, assistant managers, and managers on all aspects of operational excellence, developing and maintaining staffing levels for all managers and assistant managers, providing leadership to all managers and staff to ensure compliance with operating standards, championing staff in efforts to achieve sales goals with the use of provided reports highlighting any opportunities available, supporting local and national marketing initiatives, and traveling to provide support at multiple locations.As a Subway® team member, you'll have access to brand partnership discounts, scholarship opportunities, opportunity to earn university course credits, hands-on career experience in a restaurant business, health and supplemental benefits, career advancement, pay based on experience and results, and ownership opportunity.Prerequisites: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of successful, operational management experience in a restaurant environment. Essential functions: Must be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting with strong analytical/decision-making skills are imperative. Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop staff is critical. Computer knowledge is essential. Able to provide support at multiple locations (travel to include 2-3 days weekly at remote sites). Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized point of sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. You will receive training on your roles and responsibilities.
