Community Education Special Interest Instructor

Overview District 214 Community Education is seeking enthusiastic Special Interest Instructors to design and deliver engaging courses for adult learners. Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to design and deliver adult enrichment courses. Teach classes, typically on weekday evenings, with flexible scheduling to fit your availability. Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills when dealing with staff, students, outside officials/agencies, and the general public. Project a positive image of the district and exhibit a positive employee attitude. Complete any additional tasks assigned. If over 18, submit to a background check through District 214 and complete new employee GCN training updating annually as required. Qualifications Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and reach as needed. Hours Part‑time; must be available evenings and/or weekends. Location Various District 214 school locations.
