The hours and location you’ll work in as a Senior Diesel Mechanic with WM Monday – Friday every week 2nd Shift starting time 4:00pm Occasional Saturdays We’re committed to offering you stable hours for the financial security and work‑life balance you need. The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Pasadena, TX hauling site. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Diesel Mechanic at WM Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts. Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns. Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority. Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
