Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Position Summary Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking physicians who enjoy providing direct patient care in a large group practice setting, training medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in clinical research programs. BC/BE Non‑Invasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic group of 10 non‑invasive cardiologists at Ochsner Health’s academic flagship center, providing all areas of cardiology diagnostics. Ideal candidate will be a multimodality cardiac imager with training in advanced echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) to support structural interventions. Role involves direct patient care, training and mentoring across five community locations (Baton Rouge, Kenner, Covington, Slidell, and Marrero) and at our academic medical center. Participation in clinical research programs is expected. The Department of Cardiology includes over 80 cardiologists as members of the Ochsner Health System’s John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute, practicing at the five community locations and at the academic medical center. Ochsner has two medical schools – the Ochsner Clinical School affiliated with the University of Queensland, Australia, and the Ochsner/LSU‑Shreveport Medical School. Its ACGME‑accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology training programs offer opportunities to engage in research, teach, and mentor students, residents, and fellows.
