Seasonal Retail Stockperson

Chalet is a fourth generation, family owned retailer that has served our customers for over 100 years. We sell outdoor plants, indoor plants, garden products, outdoor furniture, home and holiday decorations, and pet food/supplies. We're located in Wilmette, conveniently close to the Edens Expressway at the Lake Avenue Exit.

We have opportunities for new team members who like to work both outside and inside in a physical job.

Job duties include:

• Unloading trucks
• Assembling product like patio furniture, bird feeders, vegetable boxes, fountains, etc.
• Stocking shelves
• Packing up online orders for customer pick up/delivery
• Organizing merchandise

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• We're looking for helpful, hardworking and accountable people who can lift at least 40 pounds (75 pounds ideally) and can work 3, 4 or 5 full days per week.
• Previous work at a warehouse or on a retail inventory team preferred.
• Basic computer and math abilities with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Shopify and Acumatica a plus.
• Experience with hand tools is a plus.
• We offer 8-hour shifts that can run between 7 am to 6 pm, and therefore can be flexible with your work day. You must be available on at least 1 weekend day.
