Regional Sales Manager (New York City Metropolitan Area)

New York City | Long Island | Northern New Jersey | Westchester | Hudson Valley

National Floors Direct is hiring an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales organization across the Greater New York metropolitan area, including New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, developing talent, and supporting continued growth across one of our most important markets.

We’re looking for a proven sales leader with significant experience managing direct-to-consumer, in-home sales organizations . Home improvement industry experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop sales teams throughout the Greater New York metropolitan region.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
• Drive conversion rates, revenue, gross profit, average ticket, order retention, and overall sales productivity.
• Develop local sales leadership and establish accountability around individual and market-level performance.
• Maintain a strong field presence, regularly accompanying sales representatives on in-home appointments to coach, evaluate, and improve execution.
• Partner with senior leadership, marketing, operations, and centralized sales support teams to maximize performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Analyze sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement actionable strategies to achieve growth objectives.
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is competitive, analytical, hands-on, and highly accountable , with a demonstrated ability to build and lead successful field sales organizations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant sales management experience in a direct-to-consumer, in-home selling environment.
• A proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining successful sales professionals.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed sales teams across multiple territories.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to sales management.
• A demonstrated ability to improve conversion, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in home improvement, flooring, windows, roofing, bath remodeling, HVAC, or a related industry strongly preferred.

Location & Travel

This is a field-based regional leadership position requiring regular travel throughout New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley.

The ideal candidate will reside within the Greater New York metropolitan area and be comfortable maintaining an active presence across NFD's locations and sales territories throughout the region.
