Billing Manager As a Billing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our independent pharmacy by managing billing processes, insurance claims and reimbursement procedures. This part-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare environment. Examples of Duties Manage and submit insurance claims and billing documents accurately and on time Monitor reimbursements, denials, and payment trends Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with payers for timely collections Maintain compliance with all applicable billing regulations and guidelines Collaborate with pharmacy and administrative staff to optimize workflow efficiency Provide oversight on cashflow for the pharmacy All other duties as assigned Typical Qualifications Experience with third-party insurance billing, Medicare/Medicaid, and prior authorizations Familiarity with billing codes and reimbursement procedures for pharmacies Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Availability to work at least 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling Supplemental Information Educational background in pharmacy, accounting, business administration, or a related field (Bachelor's required) Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy or medical billing Proficiency with pharmacy billing software and insurance platforms Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion #J-18808-Ljbffr Government Jobs
