Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Summary Location: Columbus, OH and Surrounding areas. Pay: $17.25–$18.25 per hour; all shifts available. No experience required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life. Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Providing personal care assistance. Requirements At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Personal, reliable vehicle willing and able to transport individuals served. Valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance. Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on motor vehicle record.
