- Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
- Document clinical assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Hold an active state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Demonstrate experience working with adult or geriatric populations within skilled nursing or assisted living settings.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have familiarity with speech therapy tools, techniques, and documentation protocols.
