While the welding area can get hot due to proximity to warehouse doors, overall, it is a pleasant work environment. We take pride in maintaining a tidy workspace for our employees.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on Structural Steel up to 2 inches thick.Work collaboratively with other welders and other departments as needed.Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication processes.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Ensure quality standards are met in all welding tasks.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong understanding of working with Structural Steel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fabrication processes.Great work ethic and positive attitude.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
