Position Overvie

wWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Estimator to support the bidding and evaluation process for industrial construction projects valued up to $25 Million. In this role, you will analyze technical documents, perform precise quantity take-offs, and compile comprehensive bid packages. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and operations teams to ensure accurate project execution

.Key Responsibilitie

• sEstimate projects up to $25M, depending on complexity and scope of self-performance wor
• kRead and interpret all bid documents including drawings, scope of work, contract documents, and project-specific specification
• sReview Request for Information (RFIs) to address questions throughout the bid proces
• sPerform detailed quantity take-offs for materials (conduit, wire, instruments) and estimate labor hours for installation; review junior estimator take-offs and enter into estimating software as neede
• dAssign labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to task quantitie
• sUnderstand project requirements and assign appropriate indirect cost
• sAssemble comprehensive bid packages including subcontractor quotes, vendor pricing, and project schedule
• sCompile all exceptions and clarifications; generate all submittals called for in the RF
• QConduct risk assessment to identify potential project risks and incorporate contingency costs into proposal
• sCompile conceptual design budgets based on comparable projects to support client return-on-investment assessment
• sAttend bid review meetings and present information as necessar
• yUpon award, compile all bid information, disseminate into appropriate project folder files, attend project turn-over meetings, and support operations through the pre-construction phas

eRequired Skills & Qualification

• sPrior experience as an electrical estimator with specialized knowledge in instrumentation, control systems, and industrial constructio
• nStrong understanding of electrical systems, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and construction processe
• sProficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Accubid), AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, MS Project, Navisworks, and Procor
• eExcellent analytical and math skills with strong attention to detail for precise material take-off
• sUnderstanding of civil, concrete, structural steel, equipment setting, and mechanical construction requirements preferre
• dAbility to coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on project strategies and design change

sEducation & Certificatio

• nBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent field experience (e.g., journeyman electrician
• )ASPE or AACE International certification preferre
• dJourneyman Electrician License preferre
