Client Service Representative – Veterinary Receptionist Demanes Animal Hospital is seeking a part‑time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at our hospital in Peoria, IL . CSRs are valuable members of our veterinary team, and we treat them as such. As a CSR, you will be the client’s first and last impression of Demanes. It’s important that all clients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable which is why it takes a special person who can engage with both humans and animals alike with compassion, patience and understanding. The primary responsibility of a CSR is to be efficient in front desk operations while effectively bridging communication between pet owners and our veterinary team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Greet and welcome each visitor and assess their needs Handle incoming phone calls/emails and determine the urgency Perform client check‑ins and check‑outs, including reviewing invoices Communicate visit expectations to clients, assist owners with pet management to minimize unsafe situations and client’s stress Process and document financial transactions accurately Schedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements and clinic needs Manage emergency situations and walk‑ins Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions or client questions in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness in the lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areas Recommend products available to clients through our facilities Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required At least one year of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting (CSR, kennel attendant, vet assistant, other), preferred Experience with Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively Team player, have patience and maintain a positive attitude Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is from $15.00 per hour 401K with company match Company Sponsored Employee Assistance Program (Headspace) Team Member Discounts for Pet Care Referral Bonus Program United Veterinary Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, age, mental disability, physical disability, medical condition, gender, sexual orientation, genetic information, ancestry, marital status, national origin, veteran status, and other classifications protected by applicable state and local non‑discrimination laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
