About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Decision Sciences to lead a transformative initiative in how data influences decision-making within a large global sales organization. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in advancing the reporting, analytics, decision sciences, and AI capabilities that support the company's global sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the necessary measurements, insights, and analytical capabilities to enhance business performance, seller productivity, and management decision-making. Key responsibilities include partnering with IT and the Data Governance Office to expand the sales data lake, establishing a trusted data foundation, and leading a team of approximately 100 professionals in business intelligence, analytics, data architecture, and decision-support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, decision sciences, data science, AI, or related fields, and a proven track record of leading global organizations and transformation programs. They must possess a strong understanding of global sales processes and the ability to define enterprise measurements and executive-management reporting frameworks. Experience in modernizing and automating reporting and analytics, as well as applying advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI to business challenges, is essential. The role requires excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, as well as the ability to lead through partnership and influence across various levels of the organization. An advanced university degree or equivalent experience is also a necessary qualification for this position.
