Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesSoftware development activities using C++/C#, Managed C++, .NET in Windows 64-bit environmentParticipate in all stages of software development including deployment/trouble shooting at customer sitesTake ownership of assigned design and development tasks for current and future generations of productsResponsible for software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration and testingWork with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software designMust be able to travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.QualificationsBachelor's degree with at least 5 years' experience5+ years of software development using any one of the high-level programming languages such as C++, C# and .Net FrameworkExperience developing Semiconductor tool control softwareExperience developing SECS/GEM Software, factory automation, SEMI StandardsExcellent architecture and design experience using modular / OOP / OOD methodologyHands-on experience on C#/C++ programming including multi-threading on Windows platformConsistent record on software design, implementation and unit testing using Microsoft VS C# /C++GUI design and implementation using .Net framework and .Net CoreDocumentation of software design artifacts and algorithm specificationsCollaboration with SQC team on test case development and test executionAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate with othersWhy Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
