Mission Children's is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our engaged and passionate group of providers. Qualified candidates:

• Board certified/board eligible in pediatrics
• Please note this position does not offer visa support

Position highlights:

• This is primarily a pediatric hospitalist role with potential coverage with the newborn hospitalist service line as needed
• Physician leadership opportunities available
• Work with MAHEC Family Medicine Residents and UNC Medical Students
• Flexible scheduling of 12-hour shifts rotating days (7 am – 7 pm) and nights (7 pm – 7 am)

About Mission Children's: Mission Children's is the region's only children's hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines:

• 51-bed, Level-III NICU and delivery room resuscitation staffed by our neonatology team
• 34 bed mother baby unit
• 19 bed pediatric unit
• 9 bed PICU staffed by our pediatric intensivist team
• An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units
• Approximately 4,000 deliveries per year
• Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
• Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area
