Location: Garden City, NY 11530
- Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM (45‐minute break)
- Thursdays: 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM Position Type: Part-Time / School-Based
Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join us. This is a part-time school-based role beginning February 24 and continuing through June . The ideal candidate is reliable, collaborative, and experienced in working with school-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and document progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers.
- Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation.
- Support students’ functional skills in the school environment, including fine motor, sensory, and self‐help skill development.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapist License .
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional rapport with school staff.
Schedule & Compensation
- Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM (45‐minute break)
- Thursdays: 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).
