Electrical Engineering ManagerYou will be the Electrical Engineering Manager for the Special Programs – Sensors Portfolio (Electrical Subsystems) team. Our group delivers cutting-edge electrical solutions for air, land, sea, and space platforms, supporting next-generation mission-critical technologies across Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control.What You Will Be Doing As the Electrical Engineering Manager you will lead a high-performing electrical-subsystem team while providing hands-on technical expertise. You'll define staffing needs, recruit top talent, and manage the full employee lifecycle. You'll also coach and mentor engineers, oversee system design and integration, and partner with cross-functional leaders to align resources with mission objectives. Your responsibilities will include:Defining staffing requirements, recruiting diverse talent, and managing onboarding, performance reviews, career development, and, when necessary, separations.Coaching, mentoring, and assigning work to engineers to grow the Electrical Systems competency across the portfolio.Overseeing technical execution of electrical system design, analysis, and integration for Special Programs projects.Conducting design reviews, ensuring compliance with requirements, and driving resolution of technical issues.Developing and delivering training, career-development, and recognition programs that elevate team capability and engagement.Collaborating with the Chief Engineer, cross-functional partners, other Lines of Business, and Business Areas to align resources with mission objectives.Managing schedule, budget, and risk for electrical-subsystem deliverables, and communicating status to senior leadership and customers.Fostering an inclusive, innovative culture where diverse perspectives are valued and new ideas are encouraged.Why Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited collegeLeadership experience in airborne sensors design, architecture, build, qualification, and productionExperience with Electrical SystemsDesired Skills:13+ years of experience with Electrical SystemsExperience developing electrical subsystem architecturesExperience performing electrical loads analysisExperience architecting power distribution systemsExperience with sensor designExperience with circuit card design and layoutExperience with SRR, PDR, CDR, and other Mission Success and Design Assurance reviewsExperience troubleshooting electrical systemsExperience overseeing hardware suppliersExperience with Capital, Mentor Graphics, or a harness design toolStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance processDemonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExperience troubleshooting and debugging complex electrical systems, including analog and digital circuitsExperience with signal integrity design tools such as HyperLynxExperience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principlesExperience with Windchill or Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) toolsStrong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principlesRapid prototyping experience (additive and traditional manufacturing)Experience with Allegro Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent EDA toolsPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
