About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Client nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience required Charting system experience preferred Experience with Epic charting system preferred Travel experience required Description: Responsible for providing care to observation patients and overflow medical/surgical/telemetry. Requires skills in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Capable of managing patients with cerebrovascular accidents and seizure disorders. Involves care and management of feeding tubes and IV insulin protocols. Demonstrates knowledge in interpreting dysrhythmias and following isolation precautions. Administers oxygen via nasal cannula and manages oxygen tanks and peripheral lines. Supports daily patient census of 28-42 and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. Flexible scheduling with equal patient ratios for nights and weekends. Must have two supervisory clinical references. Preferred to have at least one travel assignment prior to this position. Local candidates are welcome, defined as those within 75 miles of the facility. All Allied certifications must be included in the submission. Candidates must be prepared to meet compliance requirements promptly.
