Associate, Global Investment Banking, Real Estate

Responsibilities Transaction execution, new business presentations and client meetings. Working with Associates and Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials. Coordinating with Industry, Product and other groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas or opportunities. Generate new ideas for content creation and analyses for clients. Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies in the business. Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks to line manager and relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA, or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting. Minimum of three years of Investment Banking experience. Prior Real Estate investment banking experience and a strong understanding of valuation, financial and operational metrics, merger modeling and transaction execution. Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting. Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests. Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong teamwork skills. Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization. Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct. SIE & Series 79 & 63 licensed. Work hours: 40 per week. Compensation and Benefits The good-faith expected salary range is $175,000 – $225,000, dependent on class year and factors including but not limited to experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
