Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Transformation

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive moderately complex projects and components of larger transformation initiatives for a major financial technology organization.

You will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope while leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams. The role involves managing 3–5 projects at a time in a high-speed environment, working closely with BAs, application developers, testing, documentation, and training teams, including exposure to innovative technologies such as robotics.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams responsible for all aspects of project delivery.
• Manage 3–5 projects concurrently as part of a high-speed transformation initiative.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, testing teams, and other stakeholders on requirements, documentation, and delivery.
• Support documentation, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining clear visibility for leadership.
• Prepare and deliver executive readouts and status communications.
• Utilize Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Clarity for planning, documentation, and project tracking.
• Work with innovative technologies such as robotics as part of the broader transformation scope.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience driving moderately complex projects or components of larger initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-departmental teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects (3–5) concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Confluence for documentation, and Clarity.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive readouts and tracking risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Application Developers, testing, documentation, and training teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Omaha, NE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background supporting transformation or modernization projects in a financial technology or payments environment.
• Exposure to innovative technologies such as robotics or automation.
• Experience with both technical and non-technical project components.
• Prior work in high-speed delivery environments with clear accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
