Emergency Medicine Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Opportunity for emergency physicians to establish or transition into an independent practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians maintain full clinical authority and ownership of their practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical support (revenue cycle, HR, technology, compliance, and more). Job Type Independent Practice Opportunity. Physician Responsibilities Provide emergency care within scope of practice. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing in partnership with MedCBO. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation and support. Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or appropriate specialty). Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community-based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician-directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
