Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position requiring 3-5 years of Med/Surg experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Medical/Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Scheduled shifts run from 07:00 to 19:30
• Requires working every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses Epic EMR
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• 3-5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical and surgical patients
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Candidates must reside within the facility's radius rule area to be eligible for the full travel rate, with local candidates considered at a reduced rate
• Radius distance varies by facility location
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers should begin discussing extension with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
