Active Learning Centers is an award winning, family owned, Child Care looking for excellent teachers for our Preschool / Pre K program. We believe in fostering creativity and hands on experiences and learning for children to run, play, and explore in a nurturing and safe environment. Full Time Lead Teacher Positions Available
Competitive Teacher Pay: $20-25 based on education and experience, Bachelors in Education Field required with 3 years experience.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and a clear background check.

About Active Learning Centers:
The staff at Active Learning Centers is dedicated to creating an atmosphere that fosters learning, leadership, and fun! Children look forward to their time here and often refer to it as "camp" all year long! We get to know each child as an individual and understand what motivates them. We design activities that engage the children's minds and bodies and teach them the value of teamwork. We respect children's need for space and independence, and help them appreciate the differences in all people.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Preschool (3 year olds)
- Create and follow lesson plans and structured schedule
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Planning for daily outdoor and gross motor play
- Daily communication with parents and a high level of customer service
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Monthly staff meetings
Do you have?
- Proven experience as a Teacher (Pre School experience is a plus)
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
- Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's in education (required)
