Lifeguard - PRN

• Lifeguard must have appropriate certifications in lifeguard training through the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
• Lifeguard must maintain current certification in lifeguard training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid and defib certified.
• Lifeguard must maintain a level of fitness and ability to rescue clientele and provide CPR and/or First Aid, defib as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age and maintain current certifications in lifeguard training.
• Certifications required are CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid and Defib. Lifeguard Certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Must have a working knowledge of all safety equipment and how to execute a life save in various stressful situations.
• Ability to pay close attention and recognize distress member in a body of water. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Physical requirements include, but not limited to: Lifting/pushing, standing, demonstration of lifting techniques and cardiovascular work outs.
• Sitting and or standing for prolonged periods of time.
