Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical service lines including Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
• Adapt to variable weekend and on-call schedules as determined during the interview process
• Float within the facility and to outpatient settings as needed, within scope of practice
• Maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements, completing core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing and submitting all compliance documents by the Tuesday prior to start
• Complete required orientation modules, which are non-billable and vary by specialty

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
• Experience required in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Active Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Unit does not accept first-time travelers
• All requested time off (max 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite; no RTO permitted during orientation week
• No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout dates (late November through early January); holiday RTO policies vary based on number of holidays falling within the assignment period
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR service lines, particularly in high-acuity or specialty surgical environments
• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar acute care or surgical setting
• Familiarity with perioperative workflows across both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings
