Title Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to support a high-volume automotive group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and dealership documentation in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $21 and $23/hr.

Responsibilities

• Process retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle titles and registrations accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit title applications, lien filings, and supporting documentation to appropriate agencies
• Track title status, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies
• Verify ownership documents, payoff information, and odometer disclosures
• Prepare checks for title transactions, registration fees, and license plates
• Maintain organized records of deal jackets, title paperwork, and supporting documentation
• Issue refund checks and process corrections as needed
• Reconcile assigned accounts and assist with related accounting functions
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies to address title issues
• Support filing, scanning, mailing, and general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous automotive title processing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with dealership software (DMS) is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
